The Gearbox Pressure X 8E is built for players who want power paired with extended dwell and a connected response at impact. With 3.13 ms of measured dwell, the 8E keeps the ball interacting with the paddle longer, giving players more time to manage power, spin, placement, and shot shaping before finishing the point.

At its core is the patent-pending Pressure X Core, which combines a carbon-fiber structural system, engineered foam, targeted pressure, and Gearbox SSTCore™ technology. Carbon provides the structural foundation for power, stability, and energy return, while the foam shapes dwell, rebound, vibration, sound, and feel. Targeted pressure further tunes the paddle's response across the face.

The 8E also introduces Gearbox's patent-pending SpinLock™ System and an Elongated+ (E+) shape with a tapered throat designed for more comfortable two-handed play. With a measured 78% sweet spot area and 87.7% playable surface, the Pressure X 8E combines extended ball interaction with consistent performance across a substantial portion of the paddle face.

Key Features

• Patent-Pending Pressure X Core — Combines a carbon-fiber structural system, engineered foam, targeted pressure, and SSTCore™ technology into one performance system.

• Patent-Pending SpinLock™ System — Uses peel-ply texture, friction-renewing particles, and SSTCore™ support to help sustain ball interaction and spin performance over time.

• 3.13 ms Measured Dwell — Provides extended ball interaction and a deeper, more connected response at impact.

• 78% Sweet Spot Area — Measured through Full-Face Performance Mapping™ for a large, consistent sweet spot.

• 87.7% Playable Surface — Maintains strong performance across more of the paddle face.

• 20-Location Performance Mapping — Performance is repeatedly measured across 20 impact locations from the center toward the edge.

• Elongated+ Geometry — Features a tapered throat designed to provide a more comfortable fit for two-handed shots.

• Carbon-Reinforced Construction — Carbon-to-carbon bonding, carbon face ties, and a carbon rib structure support stability and structural consistency.

• USA Pickleball Approved — Certified under the 2026 spin rate test.
